Porsche 962 chassis #102 was raced by Bob Akin with the iconic Coca Cola livery in the 1984-85 IMSA seasons. A successful businessman who also happened to be a super-quick driver, Akin attracted top talent to partner with him, including F1 and endurance great Hans Stuck. #102’s best finish was fourth place in the 1985 24 Hours of Daytona. After being written off in a big crash at Charlotte in 1985, the car was eventually purchased by Kevin Jeanette who treated it to a meticulous restoration in 2009. The car is now a staple in vintage races around the country.
